About The Position
Hi-Vac Corporation is seeking a full-time Plasma Table Operator to join our team in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment in Marietta, OH. Hi-Vac is an industry leader in manufacturing large industrial environmental truck and trailer mounted equipment that is sold all over the world! In this role, you will be responsible for operating plasma cutting equipment to cut and shape metal plates, sheets, and structures based on detailed blueprints and specifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Relevant experience or training.
- Ability to read blueprints and use computer software for machine setup.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain plasma cutting tables for precision metal cutting.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to set up and execute cuts.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot any issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment is operating at peak efficiency.
- Ensure quality control and accuracy in each cut, meeting project specifications.
