Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience operating low-pressure plasma coating, robotic spray, or manual air spray systems.
  • Experience selecting powders and coating parameters for production components.
  • Experience using measuring instruments to verify critical dimensions.
  • Ability to read and interpret pressure gauges, flow meters, and process indicators.
  • Experience performing routine maintenance on plasma coating equipment.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and manufacturing procedures.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and comply with all PPE requirements.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Must be a US person (U.S. citizen, U.S. naturalized citizen, U.S. permanent resident, holder of U.S. approved political asylee or refugee status).

Nice To Haves

  • Autobody, mechanical, or industrial equipment maintenance background.
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing or thermal spray operations.
  • Experience using hand tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.
  • Previous manufacturing experience working in a controlled process environment.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate low-pressure plasma coating, robotic spray, and manual air spray systems to apply coatings to aerospace components.
  • Select and verify the appropriate powder specifications for each component and process.
  • Produce components in accordance with approved procedures and specifications.
  • Read and monitor pressure gauges, flow meters, and other process controls to ensure proper equipment operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance on plasma equipment, including powder specification changes, nozzle and electrode replacement, and powder feed line changes.
  • Inspect and verify component dimensions using precision measuring tools and gauges.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, process specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Maintain production schedules while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
