About The Position
We’re looking for a Chemical Process Operator to perform thermal coating processes used in the manufacture and repair of gas turbine engine components. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will apply coatings, prepare parts for processing, inspect completed work, and support production objectives while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and teamwork. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong shop math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Experience working with ABB pendants or similar robotic systems.
- Aerospace manufacturing, coating, or surface treatment experience
Responsibilities
- Apply thermal spray coatings in accordance with work instructions, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Perform assembly, disassembly, masking, grit blasting, blending, and other part preparation activities.
- Monitor coating application processes and verify coating quality and adherence requirements are met.
- Complete required inspections and quality documentation using product specifications, drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and support general production activities as needed.
- Follow all safety, quality, and 5S requirements while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
