Plasma Spray Operator Travelling Contract
About The Position
Flextrades is hiring Plasma Spray Operators with 4+ recent years of experience for a 6-month travelling contract in GEORGIA. This role involves processing aerospace components using low-pressure plasma coating equipment, as well as robotic spray and manual air spray systems. Responsibilities include selecting appropriate programs, preparing components, following controlled recipes and procedures, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Material and component preparation, including blasting, masking, and hole filling, is also a key part of the role. Additionally, you will be responsible for inspecting and verifying component dimensions using precision measuring tools and gauges.
Requirements
- 4+ recent years operating Plasma or Thermal sprayers
- Required to pass a respirator fit test
- Proficient in Aerospace Manufacturing

Responsibilities
- Processes aerospace components by operating low-pressure plasma coating equipment as well as robotic spray and manual air spray systems.
- Selecting the correct feeder/program for robotic spray work, placing or preparing components in the plasma spray rack, and following controlled recipes, approved procedures, quality requirements, safety standards, and production schedules
- Material and component preparation includes blasting, masking, and hole filling prior to coating.
- Inspecting/verifying component dimensions using precision measuring tools and gauges.

- Pay: $34/hr
- 50hrs/week GUARANTEED (OT over 40)
- $45 per diem (tax-free), 7 days a week
