About The Position

The Plant Utilities Craftsman supports safe, efficient plant operations by helping with preventive maintenance, completing assigned projects, and maintaining clean and safe work areas. The role requires following written safety procedures, identifying unsafe acts or conditions, communicating effectively, and performing general cleaning and sorting duties as needed. The position also includes other job-related duties assigned by a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Help with preventive maintenance as needed.
• Apply written safety procedures and perform duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures.
• Evaluate work areas and take appropriate action to maintain a safe environment in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
• Inspect work areas for unsafe acts and conditions.
• Complete projects and assignments safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform sweeping, cleaning, and sorting duties as necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties or follow other job-related instructions requested by a supervisor.
