About The Position

Technicians work in an outside warehouse environment. They are responsible for loading and unloading drums, totes, and containers of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials from trucks. Technicians will also sample the contents of drums, totes, and containers, and consolidate drum contents into larger containers for processing. The role requires operating a Forklift under company safety standards, with training provided by the company. Other job-related duties may be assigned or become apparent.

Requirements

• Ability to use heavy and light equipment, such as forklift and pallet jack.
• Skilled in using hand and shop tools and instruments.
• Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
• Must be able to prioritize, stay focused, and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities.
• Training or ability to pass a 40-hour HAZWOPER course upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• A valid driver’s license may be required for some positions.
• Current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification strongly preferred.
