Responsible for coordinating and sampling inbound hazardous and non-hazardous materials, ensuring that all inbound materials are in accordance with facility, state and federal regulations and are properly routed for disposal. This role involves arranging and tracking shipments, maintaining accurate and updated inventory of all waste and reagents stored on site, creating load compositions for outbound shipments to Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facilities (TSDFs), and generating shipping paperwork. The technician coordinates shipping schedules with outbound transporters and TSDFs, identifies and resolves waste discrepancies and inventory-related paperwork problems, and ensures waste is properly segregated and stored. The position requires coordination with personnel to resolve discrepancies and communicate resolutions with receiving TSDFs, entering inbound shipments into a tracking database, and ensuring all discrepancies are identified and reported. The technician interacts with drivers delivering and picking up waste materials, ensuring their adherence to safety procedures on company property. Additionally, the role ensures timely submission of inbound receipts for financial and month-end deadlines, maintains clear communication with internal operations and disposal facilities, and assists with warehouse and drum pad housekeeping as needed. Leads in this role may also review and sign manifests or coordinate with vendors, transporters, and treatment facilities.
