About The Position

The Plant Supervisor will maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the plant processing circuit, equipment, and resources while maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. This role involves supervising and managing production staff, including hiring, scheduling, performance management, progressive discipline, attendance tracking, time-card accuracy, safety awareness, and employee development. The supervisor will also monitor and maintain all work areas, build a cross-functional team by ensuring staff are cross-trained, and compile and analyze production records. Additionally, the supervisor will contact appropriate sources for repair issues and work a 2-2-3 Schedule with 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience, preferred
  • Ability to handle complex situations in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Previous plant operating experience
  • Knowledge of frac sand processing facilities
  • Knowledge of MSHA regulations
  • Previous experience operating equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the plant processing circuit, equipment, and resources while maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Supervise and manage production staff to include hiring, scheduling, performance management, progressive discipline, attendance tracking, time-card accuracy, safety awareness, and employee development
  • Monitor and maintain all work areas including, but not limited to: ponds, roadways, WIP areas and production areas
  • Build a cross-functional team by ensuring staff are cross-trained in various positions/departments
  • Compile and analyze production records
  • Contact appropriate sources for repair issues
