About The Position
Alro Steel is seeking an experienced Plant Superintendent to join its team in Indianapolis, Indiana. The successful candidate will supervise warehouse and delivery operations, coordinate inventory, and work with sales personnel and customers to meet delivery requirements and resolve delivery challenges. The role also includes ordering warehouse supplies and arranging equipment repairs. Alro describes its work environment as dynamic and offers on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience; experience in metals is preferred.
- Previous Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Effective communication and motivation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ISO procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience in metals.
