About The Position

This position is responsible for all aspects of clean-up throughout the mill, both upstairs and downstairs. The role involves removing sawdust, chips, bark, and other waste materials. The job requires working regularly scheduled shifts, including scheduled overtime as needed. Daily duties include operating various equipment for material removal, grounds maintenance, and general clean-up. The position also requires a constant state of alertness and adherence to all safety rules, as well as following supervisor instructions.

• Use of shovel, air hose, rake, Weed Eater, Backpack Blower, Trash Detail, operate Bobcat, Tractor, Sweeper, Water Truck, Forklift, Skytrac, Bucket Loader, Manlift & Firewatch for Maintenance on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of clean-up mill wide, upstairs and downstairs.
• Remove sawdust, chips, bark, and other waste plant wide.
• Work regularly scheduled shifts.
• Work scheduled overtime as required.
• Operate a Bobcat to remove large amounts of sawdust, chips, etc.
• Perform Firewatch duties as needed.
• Mow, use Weed Eater, and perform Trash Detail.
• Follow all applicable safety rules.
• Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Follow instructions from Supervisor.
