About The Position
Sensient Technologies is seeking a Plant Sanitarian to perform hands-on sanitation tasks, including cleaning equipment and facility areas using approved chemicals. This role involves working in wet, hot, and humid environments, and requires the ability to use stairs, ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. The position requires flexible hours and times, including weekends, with a primary shift of third (3rd) shift. The role's demands are flexible and adapt to the seasonal production schedule.
Requirements
- Adaptability to do different activities each day with strong attention to detail
- Interest in being a part of an effective and productive manufacturing process
- Ability to read, write with desire to continually learn and improve
- Knowledge of Industrial Safety and Hygiene guideline with previous experience in plant production sites with added plus of exposure to food industry
- Authorized to work in the US without the need for employment visa sponsorship

Responsibilities
- Effectively follow Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures
- Assemble and disassemble equipment using various hand and power tools
- Have knowledge of cleaning with chemical use and purpose
- Document completion of tasks on respective master Sanitation schedule
- Ability to drive a Genie Boom, operate a scissor lift, floor scrubber, power washer/ice blaster
