About The Position

Novolex supplies food, beverage, and specialty packaging to industries including foodservice, delivery/carryout, grocery and retail, food processing, and industrial markets. We work across resin, paper, molded fiber, aluminum, and other materials—delivering 120 product categories under 250 brands and more than 39,000 SKUs. Our sustainability strategy focuses on three pillars—products, operations, and people—to drive progress company-wide. This role involves a 12-hour schedule on a 2-2-3 rotation, with shifts from 07:00 AM–07:00 PM (1st Shift) and 07:00 PM–07:00 AM (2nd Shift).

Requirements

  • Proficiency with desktop software and Maintenance Connection CMMS.
  • Experience with computerized machine controls and operator interfaces.
  • Highly organized, accountable, and solutions-focused; able to multitask.
  • Clear oral and written communication; comfortable working with all levels.
  • Ability to act independently and apply sound work practices with minimal direction.
  • Team-first attitude.
  • Foundational hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and/or general maintenance background.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical credentials preferred.
  • Exposure to thermoforming, injection molding, or plastics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic troubleshooting on automation and production equipment.
  • Execute equipment set-ups and preventive maintenance to sustain performance.
  • Diagnose and correct equipment-related processing issues.
  • Use a computer-based inventory system to generate reports and find spare parts.
  • Complete day-by-day CMMS activities in Maintenance Connection.
  • Assist maintenance and production teams; help train peers when requested.
  • Meet quality expectations within time standards set by management (verbal and written).
  • Wear required PPE and follow all safety rules and procedures—no exceptions.
  • Stay flexible with scheduling and maintain clean, safe, organized work areas.
  • Adhere to all company rules and policies; perform other duties as needed.
