About The Position

In this Corsicana, TX role, you’ll diagnose and repair plant utilities and production equipment across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems—independently and with confidence. Why this role Immediate need on a steady dayshift team Competitive pay : $31–$42/hour DOE Consistent schedule : Mon–Fri, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. What you’ll do Troubleshoot tough issues with priority on electrical problems: AC/DC drives, motor control circuits, and PLC-adjacent diagnostics (PLC experience is a plus). Execute or assist with 480V 3-phase motor installs/repairs; build/repair motor starter circuits; set up and maintain VFDs; service photoelectric sensors, proximity switches, E-Stop circuits, and ground-fault detection—adhering to Pactiv’s Electrical Safety Program. Use precision meters and tools (amp/ohm meters, test lamp, megger) plus standard hand tools for safe, accurate diagnostics. Read and apply electrical schematics/symbols and mechanical drawings, including P&IDs. Maintain, adjust, and repair mechanical equipment: conveyors, pumps, motors, belts, and chains; perform lubrication and alignment; support pneumatics and hydraulics. Requirements

Either a 2-year Industrial Electrical degree or 1–2 years of industrial experience
Proven mechanical aptitude with electro-mechanical troubleshooting
Basic computer literacy
Strong written and verbal communication
Comfort working independently with minimal supervision
Flexible to take on additional tasks

Nice To Haves

2–4 years of boiler exposure; active Boiler Operator Certification preferred
Two years as a Plant Shift Maintenance Technician or four years of industrial maintenance (electrical + mechanical repairs)
Forklift and high-lift operation
Welding
Shop equipment and fabrication skills
Fluency in reading mechanical/electrical blueprints and schematics
Familiarity with AC/DC drives and PLCs
PLC troubleshooting

Responsibilities
