Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of modern planning – techniques, manual and automated supporting systems, product line and structure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), as well as Internet software and E-mail is required.
  • Ability to perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to sit and use hands to touch, handle, or feel.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and analyzes assembly loading levels and production dates with distribution for the duration of the planning horizon. Plans production based on published lead times and customer commitment dates.
  • Works closely with Master Scheduler, Plant Manager and Operations Manager to adjust scheduling capacity based on manpower.
  • Ensure accurate production reporting and an accurate plan.
  • Expedite high priority jobs and report on their plan.
  • Communication with customer service is a critical part of this job. All questions not pertaining to warranty but inclusive of expediting, shortages, revision inquiries, and other manufacturing – relocated questions will be controlled by this position.
  • Reviews incoming orders for accuracy and adherence to engineering/production guidelines. Communicate with customer service, marketing and sales to gather information required for order to meet guidelines.
  • Reviews revisions and administer charges as required. In addition, review delivery impact regarding plant loading and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate Shipping of units daily.
  • Responsible for reporting work related injuries and near misses to supervision.
  • Responsible for wearing all required PPE and following applicable safety/environmental rules.
  • Responsible for correcting or reporting unsafe conditions observed within the plant.
  • Adheres to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.
