The Plant Procurement Manager is responsible for protecting the stability and quality of direct materials for Colgate-Palmolive’s Personal Care manufacturing portfolio. The role leads regional cost mitigation and risk management strategies and serves as the link between the manufacturing facility and external suppliers. It takes ownership of sourcing challenges before they affect production and partners with the Director of Manufacturing and End to End Supply Chain to support facility communication, financial planning, and operational performance. The manager negotiates local raw and packaging material purchases while working with Global Procurement on category strategies at the manufacturing-site level. The role manages suppliers, materials, and procurement processes against corporate, division, and local performance metrics; builds collaboration among suppliers, customer service, and quality; develops risk-management strategies for key materials; supports timely new product and packaging launches; and implements supplier performance, compliance, and Supplier Managed Inventory initiatives. It also provides procurement resources for task forces, acquisition studies, and corporate projects, manages budget preparation using commodity-market insights, and optimizes inventories against customer service needs and working-capital targets. The salary range is $124,000–$174,000 USD. Pay depends on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and profit-sharing; long-term incentives are identified for Executive-level roles.
