About The Position

Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader, is seeking a Shopfloor Logistics Supervisor. This role is responsible for managing the internal flow of pieces from receipt to shipping, ensuring customer delivery, production line supplies, logistics basics, visual management, equipment and human resources, productivity gains, and team management. The supervisor will collaborate with quality, production, and engineering to ensure optimal plant operation. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or similar, at least 3 years of experience in supervision and material handling within an industrial production or logistics setting, and experience with SAP. Fluency in English and knowledge of logistics tools like MRP, FIFO, and MPM are essential. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work under pressure, are also required. This is a day shift position, but candidates must be open to working any shift and overtime. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or similar preferred
  • Experience in production or logistics in an industrial setting
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supervision and material handling
  • Experience utilizing SAP
  • English language required
  • Knowledge of logistics tools and systems, such as MRP, FIFO, and MPM
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adequate production lines supplies: assure the cleanness and tidiness of stocking areas, ensure feeding of production lines (small train), supervise the unloading of pieces and measure suppliers MPM and manage a warning system in picking zone.
  • Conduct the implementation of logistics basics: booking operations, traceability, labelling, container management, etc.
  • Look for productivity gains.
  • Manage, train and coach logistics operators’ teams.
  • Follow requirements established with 7 Delivery Basics and 7 Inventory Basics.
  • Ensure members in assigned area(s) of responsibility conform to relevant HSE requirements.
  • Support commitments established in the ISO 14001/45001 Environmental Policy.
  • Conform to requirements established in Saline Plant ISO 14001/45001 Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) procedures and work instructions.
  • Support environmental programs to achieve objectives and targets.
  • Assist with any other additional tasks as assigned by the company.
