About The Position

The Plant Operator will be responsible for various manual handling and operational tasks within the plant. This role involves working with machinery, quality inspection, inventory management, and troubleshooting the washline system. The operator will also be cross-trained on the autoclave machine and must adhere to all safety codes and conduct. This is a full-time, permanent position with consistent work hours, offering job stability as an essential service to healthcare. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
One year related experience or training or combination of experience and training, demonstrating strong communication skills and tact.
Demonstrates communication skills and possesses the ability to complete all tasks within expectations
Position requires extensive lifting, walking, bending, and pushing.
Demonstrates knowledge of barcode scanning and basic computer skills.
Demonstrates knowledge of Hazardous Materials and OSHA Regulations
Can-do attitude who is committed to the schedule
Previous experience in a labor-intensive job
Ability to ascend to become one of the leaders of our production team.

Responsibilities

Manual handling (hand washing using a high-pressure power hose)
Labor intensive activities Handling 45 pounds & operating machinery
Managing a 10-point quality inspection of emptied medical collectors for re-use
Managing inventory per manifests for delivery drivers
Troubleshooting the washline system (container washing + sanitization system)
Being crossed trained to manage our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
Adhering to safety codes and conduct
