About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role operates and monitors plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient production. The Evening Shift Plant Operator will perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on machinery, adjust controls to maintain product quality and meet production targets, and communicate effectively with team members to coordinate operations. The role requires adherence to all safety protocols and environmental compliance standards.

• Ability to learn and operate plant systems and equipment effectively.
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
