About The Position

Canada Building Materials (CBM), a part of Votorantim Cimentos North America (VCNA), is seeking a Heavy Equipment & Plant Operator for its St. Marys location. Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
Must possess valid Ontario driver's license.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
Must be able to work a rotating schedule of 6am – 3pm and 2:30pm – 11:30pm.
Must have reliable transportation to the location (not accessible by public transit).
OSSGD or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment (loader, skid steer etc.), various hand tools, and other types of machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform maintenance on plant equipment as needed, including changing screens, greasing, moving equipment etc.
Provide customer service to aggregate haulers, as needed.
Liaison with contractors working on-site.
Follow all safety procedures and policies.
Participate in ongoing health and safety initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.
