About The Position
RiverStone Group is seeking a Quarry Plant Operator/Maintenance at their Midway Stone Plant in Hillsdale, IL. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground position focused on keeping a high-volume, open-pit quarry operational. The role typically involves daytime work, Monday through Friday, with potential for some Saturdays due to operational needs.
Requirements
- Safety-Focused

- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions
- Self-motivated with a solid work ethic

Responsibilities
- Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHA
- Operate and monitor all equipment and production area safely and efficiently
- Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and/or clean equipment as needed
- Communicate with plant management team on all safety, maintenance, and production needs
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
