Plant Operations Technician III
About The Position
Manages preventative maintenance and repair of physical plant systems and utilities to assure optimal operating conditions. Coordinates shutdowns, initiates repairs, and recommends improvements. Responds to general maintenance and preventive maintenance trouble calls. Plans and performs diversified, involved work to install, repair, replace, and test systems and utilities according to code requirements and manufacturers’ recommendations. Demonstrates proficiency and competency as an Energy Plant Operator, HVAC Technician, Plumber, Electrician, or Building Maintenance Technician.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience.
- EPA 608 Type I Certification required.
- Forklift certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License, or obtain one within 30 days of hire.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Nice To Haves
- CHFT designation preferred.
