About The Position
The Plant Operations Tech is responsible for the overall upkeep of residential and public areas through responsive, accurate, and efficient maintenance. The role involves performing simple tasks that require general maintenance and repair techniques, materials, tools, and equipment. The position is offered full-time or part-time at Regency Oaks in Clearwater, Florida.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of residential building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical systems, flooring, and appliances.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents and staff and to take direction.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to successfully complete a level two background check, including AHCA background screening.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of long-term care or nursing home experience.
Nice To Haves
- Technical certificate or degree preferred but not required.
- Two to three years of maintenance experience in a residential apartment complex, commercial building, or hotel preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas, including electrical, plumbing, lighting, drywall, concrete, painting, doors, and locks.
- Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failures.
- Complete work orders in a timely manner and provide detailed information about work performed and relevant equipment.
- Maintain dependable and punctual attendance.
