Requirements

  • Demonstrated operations and managerial experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Expertise in applying lean principles and engaging others.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others.
  • Strong problem solving, negotiating, and decision-making skills with the proven ability to manage complex situations.
  • Collaborative work style, working cross-functionally is a big part of this role.
  • Proficiency with computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 3+ years manufacturing Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serving as a member of Plant Management Leadership Team, holding the department accountable for adherence to plant direction and establishing and ensuring achievement of all unit Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ensuring adherence to and continuous improvement for all area Management Control & Reporting Systems (MCRS) elements with the training and building capabilities of all team members.
  • Participating in the business planning and budgeting process by developing short and long-term cost containment and reduction strategies.
  • Overseeing the execution of projects within assigned area by monitoring project plans and status to ensure successful completion.
  • Ensuring raw materials are converted into finished goods for assigned area/shift.
  • Deploying and sustaining Lean Training to help staff meet the demands and challenges of our thriving business.
  • Ensuring the plant complies with all employee safety, food safety, sanitation policies and regulations.
  • Managing and developing a team, demonstrating dedication to making the company and its people even more effective.
