About The Position

Foster Farms is seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead operations at our Porterville facility. This role provides overall leadership to approximately 350 team members across production, distribution, warehousing, sanitation, maintenance, safety, and plant performance. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive management experience specifically within the poultry industry, to include ready to eat (RTE) experience. The position will include frequent contact with Live Production, Product Management, Technical Services, Human Resources, Accounting, Commodities, Legal, USDA, industry associations, local government agencies, and selected customers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive management experience within the poultry industry--ready to eat (RTE) required.
• Demonstrated financial understanding to include budgeting, staffing, and cost analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and drive.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, preferred.

• Assist in product development, quality assurance, engineering systems, and equipment to provide future profitability and growth as required by the Manufacturing Division.
• Develop new products and processes in conjunction with Marketing and USDA compliance with SSOP and HACCP programs.
