About The Position

The Plant Operations Manager reports to the Director of Plant Operations and is responsible for the daily operations of the department. This includes scheduling work, coordinating with stakeholders, supervising resources, and ensuring quality assurance and control.

Requirements

• Seven to ten years' experience in supervision and management of professional and technical disciplines.
• Must possess leadership ability and have good human relations skills.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-developed problem solving skills and ability to conceptual alternatives.
• Must have ability to interpret blue prints.
• Must have knowledge of plumbing, electrical and air conditioning related to healthcare facilities.
• Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulation.
• Have knowledge and can produce a scope of work and URCA for each construction and renovation projects.
• Able to communicate effectively with management, design professionals, project teams, clients, contractors and sub-contractors.
• Ability to work with contractors and resolving construction issues.
• Must be able to report to work in the event of a disaster or after hour's emergencies.
• Must clear background and drug test required.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in engineering, architecture, safety, emergency and disaster management, construction management or related fields preferred.
• An Bachelor degree in engineering, architecture, safety, emergency and disaster management, construction management or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily operations of the department, including but not limited to, scheduling of work, stakeholder coordination, supervision of resources, and quality assurance/control.
• Responsible for managing multiple projects and project teams in support of projects.
