About The Position

Join our immersive 11-week internship designed to provide hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to industry leaders. The intern will conduct an inventory compliance improvement study. This program offers industry exposure with real-world project experience, skill development and building workshops, career development and support, insight into our company culture, and leadership engagement.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an associate, bachelor's or graduate degree program majoring in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agribusiness, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Logistics, or Agricultural Systems Management.
  • All academic majors encouraged to apply.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to peers, managers, and senior leaders.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours as needed to collect data; occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
  • Willingness to build relationships with mentors, peers, and professionals to expand industry knowledge and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct an inventory compliance improvement study.
  • Collect and interpret data, form hypotheses, and recommend long-term solutions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Follow all departmental and company safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE when required.
