Arrow Plant Operations Director (Full Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Plant Operations Director to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of maintenance, cleanliness, and appearance for our physical building and grounds. The Director will oversee the Plant Operations and Housekeeping departments, managing budgets, staffing, and compliance to ensure efficient and safe operations. A key aspect of this role is maintaining resident satisfaction by addressing requests promptly and ensuring the safety of employees, guests, and residents by identifying and mitigating potential hazards and emergency preparedness. Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Certification and experience in HVAC highly recommended.
- Thorough knowledge of construction, refinishing, painting, plumbing, floor/carpet care, refurbishing required.
- Must have at least two (2) years of experience in apartment or other multiple unit maintenance with supervisory experience.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items more than 50 pounds.
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day, and the use of a ladder is required.
- Job functions require both indoor and outdoor work, including in periods of inclement weather.
- Must be criminally cleared.
- Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
- Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
- Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
- Must have a clean driving record as per the insured’s policy.
- Skills, knowledge, and competency in the areas of leadership and supervision.
- Working knowledge of current OSHA regulations.
Nice To Haves
- Landscaping experience a plus.
- Experience in senior housing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure physical building and grounds are held to the highest standards of maintenance, cleanliness, and appearance.

- Maintain resident satisfaction with community and their apartments and address requests in a timely manner.
- Keep safety of employees, guests, and residents at top of mind, whether regarding potential environmental hazards or in relation to emergencies.
