About The Position

A plant operations clerk handles administrative and paperwork tasks for the hospital Plant Operations department. They bridge the gap between the hospital campus and Plant Ops office.

Requirements

• Basic to moderate knowledge of programs like Excel or other software systems
• Must be highly organized.
• Communication with managers, employees, and outside vendors.
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Inventory Tracking: check in raw materials and update stock counts
• Order Processing: process purchase orders and invoices to ensure bills are paid accurately.
• Scheduling: coordinate shifts, track worker hours, and schedule deliveries
• Safety & Compliance: maintains records of safety audits and employee hazard training or other information for annual survey.
