About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Plant Operations Assistant for The Fremont, a senior living community in Springfield, Missouri. This full-time role involves assisting the Plant Operations Director in maintaining the community's facilities, equipment, and tools. The position requires a proactive approach to addressing repair and maintenance requests, ensuring the safety of employees, guests, and residents, and documenting all work performed. Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
A Missouri Class E license.
Thorough knowledge of construction, refinishing, painting, plumbing, floor/carpet care, and refurbishing.
At least two (2) years of experience in apartment or other multiple unit maintenance.
Supervisory experience.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items more than 50 pounds.
Ability to perform standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to use a ladder.
Willingness to perform indoor and outdoor work, including in inclement weather.
Must be criminally cleared.
Must be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
Health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
Must have a clean driving record as per the insured’s policy.
Working knowledge of current OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist the Plant Operations Director in maintaining all areas of the community.
Service equipment and tools.
Respond to repair and maintenance requests.
