Your Impact We are seeking a Plant Leader to oversee daily operations of a high-growth manufacturing facility producing custom-engineered products across multiple lines. The Plant Leader will be responsible for all aspects of production, including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people development. This role requires a hands-on, results-driven leader who can drive performance, foster a culture of accountability, and deliver against aggressive production goals. The Plant Leader will ensure that the site operates efficiently, safely, and in alignment with Accelevation’s operational excellence strategy. About the Houston Facility The Houston, MS facility is a newly acquired operation, strategically purchased to expand Accelevation’s capacity and manufacturing capabilities. This site represents the next phase of our national growth strategy — increasing speed to market, diversifying product offerings, and strengthening our operational footprint. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, welding, metal fabrication, assembly or construction , with at least 7+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing a nine-figure P&L, driving cost reductions, and maximizing profitability.
  • Expertise in labor planning, workforce optimization, and capacity planning.
  • Proven leadership managing large teams and cross-functional projects.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and data analytics tools, Epicor or similar ERP system preferred.
  • Ability to excel in a high-growth, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all plant functions including Manufacturing, Materials Management, Facilities, Quality, and Shipping/Receiving to meet production, delivery, and quality objectives.
  • Promote a zero-incident culture by ensuring adherence to all OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards.
  • Drive daily execution of production plans through strong floor presence, KPI tracking, and effective problem-solving.
  • Manage and control labor, overtime, material, and overhead costs to achieve budget and margin goals.
  • Champion lean manufacturing principles and implement process improvements to increase throughput, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of supervisors and associates. Build bench strength and foster a culture of engagement and accountability.
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Corporate Operations to align plant output with customer demand and company objectives.
  • Utilize ERP (Epicor preferred) and operational dashboards to monitor performance, analyze trends, and make informed decisions.
