About The Position

The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality, safety, and continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team of department managers and supervisors, ensuring adherence to automotive standards and driving plant profitability. The Plant Manager will also be responsible for establishing annual production plans and managing inventory control.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
+20 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
15 years in a dedicated Automotive Plant Manager or Operations Manager role.
Proficiency with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP).
Working knowledge of advanced automation/digital integration.
Teamwork oriented.
Proactive planning.
Quality mindset.

Responsibilities

Ensure assembly lines meet customer delivery schedules.
Support new product launches (APQP).
Maintain inventory control.
Enforce strict adherence to automotive standards including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
Cultivate a workplace safety culture.
Chair EHS steering committees.
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste, optimize processes, and boost plant profitability.
Manage direct reports (department managers, supervisors).
Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for the workforce.
Responsible and authorized to supervise all production department employees in case of emergency or contingency.
Review, analyze, and distribute the result of previous year annual production plan and achievement report.
Establish next year annual production plan.
