About The Position

Direct and coordinate all plant operations and maintenance within company policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe working environment and be a safety leader at the plant. Establish and direct plant policies and procedures, and be responsible for meeting plant production goals. Establish and maintain a positive community relationship and foster and promote a team environment. Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of safety, purchasing, production, quality, human resources, accounting, and shipping. Responsible for establishing all shift production schedules. Select and train plant supervisory and operations staff, and conduct employee performance reviews. Schedule and conduct plant meetings. Responsible for the product quality of the plant. Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings. Follow all federal, state, and company regulations for the plant and wastewater. Work with customers and suppliers, and perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • At least four years of plant supervisor experience
  • Minimum of four years direct experience managing portion control operations required
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good verbal and written skills
