About The Position

The individual shall be responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and continuous improvement of the manufacturing site. This role ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while driving a site-wide transformation focused on operational excellence, capacity optimization, and sustainable growth. The role is also responsible for leading all site functions including production, engineering, quality, maintenance, EHS, and continuous improvement, while aligning plant performance with divisional strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; all MS Office software.

  • Aerospace industry experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a zero-incident safety culture and ensure compliance with all EHS regulations
  • Provide overall leadership for all plant operations, ensuring the achievement of safety, people, quality, delivery, and cost (SPQDC) objectives.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance across all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure effective execution of production planning to meet customer demand and on-time delivery targets.
  • Lead plant transformation initiatives focused on productivity, capacity expansion, and cost competitiveness.
  • Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing, and Operational Excellence methodologies.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and cycle time improvement.
  • Develop and drive a multi-year site optimization roadmap, including automation and digitalization where applicable.
  • Own and manage the plant P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Deliver improvements in gross margin, conversion costs, and asset utilization whilst managing capital investment aligned with strategic growth and operational efficiency goals.
  • Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing leadership team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and operational discipline.
  • Partner with engineering to drive process innovation and product manufacturability improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to quality systems (ISO or industry-specific standards).
  • Collaborate with supply chain to optimize inventory levels, materials flow, and supplier performance.
