Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum eight (8) years of manufacturing and supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, quality systems, safety programs, and operational leadership
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Strong strategic planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple disciplines and priorities simultaneously
• Strong communication and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to develop operational business plans and execution strategies

Nice To Haves

• Experience implementing Lean manufacturing practices
• Experience in IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001/14001 environments
• Automotive manufacturing industry experience
• Experience leading large-scale manufacturing startup or commissioning activities

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all plant production operations with overall responsibility for production, maintenance, safety, environmental compliance, and operational performance.
• Work closely with executive leadership and global teams to drive alignment, optimize manufacturing operations, and support the successful transition from construction and commissioning into full production operations.
• Lead all operational leaders including Assistant Plant Managers, Production Building Managers, and Process Managers.
• Mentor and develop leadership teams while fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee all production, maintenance, safety, and environmental compliance activities.
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across the facility.
• Lead problem-solving initiatives related to quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale.
• Ensure safe, clean, and compliant plant operations while promoting strong safety practices.
• Build and develop operational processes, procedures, and organizational structure to support strategic growth.
• Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives including 5S, continuous improvement, and self-directed work teams.
• Collaborate with R&D and Process Engineering teams to optimize manufacturing conditions and product quality.
• Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve process and production concerns.
• Develop and manage operating budgets and support financial reporting to executive leadership.
• Monitor and drive KPI performance across all operational areas.
• Provide on-site leadership response during plant disruptions or operational emergencies.
• Maintain strong relationships across operations, support departments, and executive leadership teams.
