The Plant Manager oversees all daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining high-quality standards. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
7+ years in manufacturing operations with at least 3 years in a management role (for a manager). Supervisory experience considered for a lower-level position.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop plant staff, creating a culture of accountability, integrity, respect, and teamwork.
Manage recruitment, retention, evaluation, and training of shop employees.
Build strong relationships with employees and promote unity by collaborating with key stakeholders.
Oversee all plant operations, including production, maintenance, and quality control, to ensure efficient workflows.
Meet production schedules with daily tasks completed on time, in full, and to the highest quality standards.
Implement policies for inventory control, equipment maintenance, and fleet operation.
Increase operational efficiency by improving processes and reducing waste.
Develop, implement, and manage safety policies to promote a safety-first culture
Develop the plant budget and manage operations within financial targets.
Set goals through long- and short-term planning, aligned with the company's annual optimization plan.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, costs, and safety.
Analyze production reports and other metrics to improve operations.
Ensure all products meet quality standards and exceed customer expectations.
Address product troubleshooting in the field as needed.
Maintain open communication with departments like sales, logistics, and engineering to align operations with customer needs.
