We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead plant operations, drive operational excellence, and build a high-performing, safety-driven team. What You’ll Do As Plant Manager, you will ensure company policies and procedures are followed while overseeing all manufacturing systems to deliver high-quality products on time and to the highest standard.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Material Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field
  • Prior supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of heat-treating principles, including time, temperature, transformation relationships, aluminum alloys, and statistical process control
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to comply with U.S. export control regulations

Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership, coaching, and development to direct reports and plant employees
  • Actively participate in and support the company’s strategic growth initiatives
  • Schedule production efficiently and manage customer inventory requirements
  • Partner with customers to resolve product issues, support new product development, and assist with prototypes and special requests
  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of documented production procedures
  • Order critical production supplies to ensure on-time customer deliveries
  • Address customer quality concerns by collaborating with Quality, Production, Sales, and leadership teams
  • Evaluate and validate the effectiveness of corrective actions
  • Ensure production procedures, quality standards, and best practices are consistently followed throughout the plant
  • Maintain accurate and complete quality records in accordance with the Quality Assurance Manual
  • Build and develop a high-performing team focused on safety, quality, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Participate in monthly performance reviews with detailed KPI analysis
  • Foster a respectful, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture
  • Lead plant safety initiatives and complete all required annual safety and environmental training
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local environmental regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
