About The Position

For 75 years, our company has built a reputation for quality, reliability, and long-term customer partnerships from our headquarters in Virginia. That legacy is now driving our next phase of growth: the launch of a new, state-of-the-art light pole manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City. We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead this new operation from the ground up. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for establishing the culture, building the team, and executing the operational strategy that will define our success in the region. The right candidate will bring a balance of hands-on manufacturing expertise, disciplined operational leadership, and the ability to scale a facility while maintaining the standards that have defined our company for decades. This is a rare opportunity to shape a new facility backed by an established, financially strong organization with a long-standing commitment to its people, customers, and communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8 years of plant or manufacturing leadership experience; Plant Manager experience strongly preferred
  • Proven success leading teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong working knowledge of safety programs, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership and direction to plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and safety
  • Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure plant performance meets or exceeds targets for efficiency, cost, quality, and delivery
  • Develop, coach, and engage supervisors and frontline leaders
  • Implement and sustain standard operating procedures and best practices learned during initial training period
  • Partner with corporate and cross‑functional teams to align plant objectives with business goals
  • Manage plant budgets, staffing plans, and capital projects as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and company standards
  • Complete hands-on training at the Virginia facility
  • Learn company systems, production processes, and performance expectations
  • Build strong relationships with leadership and operations teams
  • Prepare for smooth transition to full plant leadership role in Oklahoma City
