Requirements

Bachelor's degree required (Management, Business, or Engineering).
5+ years in increasingly complex management positions.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in the automotive industry.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes of the automotive industry.
Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma process improvements.
Vision and ability to translate progressive operating techniques into applications and results.
Broad knowledge of manufacturing financial principles.
Strong logic and analytical skills to direct resolution of complex or unusual business problems.
Action-oriented and innovative in leading manufacturing operations.
Process knowledge of plant department functions and roles to facilitate overall plant synergy.
Proven leadership ability and utilization of teamwork.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to interface with and motivate all levels of team members.
Ability to mentor and teach team members effective problem-solving methods.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software.

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree in Business Management preferred (MBA).

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the entire Android production operation, including materials management, assembly, shipping, quality control, maintenance, and manufacturing engineering.
Develop and administer policies and guidelines applicable to manufacturing operations.
Ensure operations meet established objectives for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Develop and promote human resource bench strength throughout all levels of the production operation.
Lead, coach, and mentor the leadership team, equipping them to lead, coach, and mentor their direct reports.
Effectively plan, coordinate, and direct overall Android manufacturing activities, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
Accountable for appropriate staffing levels to meet budgeted financial performance.
Direct the utilization of Android KPIs to track, monitor, and implement required improvement activities.
Drive implementation of lean manufacturing using operating procedures, standardized work instructions, and job safety analysis.
Implement policy deployment to improve plant performance metrics and meet customer expectations.
Develop, drive, and support plant activities for IATF 16949/ISO14001 compliance and customer awards/quality registrations.
Lead the plant safety committee, assign EHS responsibilities, and hold direct reports accountable for safety procedures and device utilization.
Work with the Sales Team to provide input on quoting and new business development.
Maintain high standards in plant layout applying 5S and PFEP.
Ensure the plant adheres to all Android policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
