About The Position

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Plant Manager at our Newington, New Hampshire – Gypsum Facility. The Plant Manager leads a team to success while ensuring a safe and injury/incident-free environment in our fast-paced plant. They motivate, coach, and inspire by demonstrating, promoting, and applying Georgia-Pacific’s Principle-Based Management (PBM®) in daily actions and decisions to deliver maximum value to the business and our customers. Requirements

A minimum of six (6) years of plant management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, -- OR -- three (3) years of plant management experience in the Gypsum industry - leading manufacturing processes, including work processes, operations excellence, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Transformation experience utilizing automation and advanced technology to improve operations.
Experience utilizing constraint analysis and continuous improvement to prioritize work and solve complex issues.
Experience coaching, counseling, and developing employees.
Experience and understanding of budgeting/expense management with a basic understanding of financial and accounting practices.
Large capital project Engineering or Management experience.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a technical or business Program
Previous experience in the Gypsum industry
Experience in applying Continuous Improvement methodologies to the manufacturing process.
