About The Position

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Plant Manager at our Newington, New Hampshire – Gypsum Facility. The Plant Manager leads a team to success while ensuring a safe and injury/incident-free environment in our fast-paced plant. They motivate, coach, and inspire by demonstrating, promoting, and applying Georgia-Pacific’s Principle-Based Management (PBM®) in daily actions and decisions to deliver maximum value to the business and our customers. Requirements

  • A minimum of six (6) years of plant management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, -- OR -- three (3) years of plant management experience in the Gypsum industry - leading manufacturing processes, including work processes, operations excellence, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • Transformation experience utilizing automation and advanced technology to improve operations.
  • Experience utilizing constraint analysis and continuous improvement to prioritize work and solve complex issues.
  • Experience coaching, counseling, and developing employees.
  • Experience and understanding of budgeting/expense management with a basic understanding of financial and accounting practices.
  • Large capital project Engineering or Management experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a technical or business Program
  • Previous experience in the Gypsum industry
  • Experience in applying Continuous Improvement methodologies to the manufacturing process.
