  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and or a combination of relevant education and experience equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Managing, directing, and coordinating all plant operations.
  • Assuring production objectives are met within cost and quality standards through subordinate supervisors and managers.
  • Assuring that organizational production objectives are met.
  • Controlling quality cost, warehousing, receiving, shipping and manufacturing throughout the plant.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of all plant buildings and equipment including security and protection.
  • Participating in plant organizational and operational planning consistent with the overall organizational objectives.
  • Reviewing and approving actions regarding pay, people, and costs.
  • Controlling product quality from a manufacturing standpoint.
  • Maintaining and supporting prescribed programs of employee relations, health and safety, training and development, compensation and benefits for all employees in the plant.
  • Staying abreast of developments and trends in manufacturing for application in plant, recommending changes in policies and procedures as appropriate.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.
