This position will be based in San Leandro, CA and the salary range is $145,000 to $175,000 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. As the Plant Manager at our milk production facility, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, and safety. You’ll manage production schedules, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and product quality. Leading a dedicated team, you will drive performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement, while managing budgets and resources effectively. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality milk products to our customers.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of increasing levels of responsibility in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3 plus years’ experience with implementing Lean Manufacturing Principles.

  • Manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and raw materials.
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular audits to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and manage inspections.
  • Oversee budget management, balancing cost control with operational needs.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
