About The Position

The purpose of the Plant Maintenance is to be responsible for assisting as needed in maintenance jobs across the plant including yarn winder repair, air compressor, Boiler maintenance and other process equipment repair.

Requirements

• Must pass a welding test.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be able to do basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
• Normal mobility, no abnormal fear of heights or confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience a plus.
• Lathe and milling machine experience a plus.
• Basic plumbing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and perform preventative and routine maintenance on all air compressors as per manufacturers recommendations
• Perform daily boiler checks/maintenance.
• Welding is required.
• Must be able to use cutting equipment. (Acetylene torch, plasma cutter etc.)
• Must be able to safely operate power tools.
• Must have verifiable fabricating experience.
• Proficient in use of measuring equipment
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
• All accidents must be reported immediately.
