About The Position

The Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining site reliability by performing high-quality inspections, troubleshooting basic preventative maintenance (PM) tasks, and executing routine maintenance with no supervision. This role includes replacing basic components and assisting in minimizing unplanned downtime through proactive maintenance efforts.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in operations, preferably within the aggregate industry.
  • Strong understanding of plant operations and maintenance requirements
  • Proficiency in conducting thorough inspections of all site areas
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic PM and maintenance issues
  • Knowledge of component replacement and its impact on plant performance
  • Ability to independently perform routine maintenance and component changes
  • Detail-oriented approach to inspections and identifying potential failures
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for basic mechanical and operational issues
  • Effective collaboration with team members to support plant operations
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively within a team
  • Proactive mindset in minimizing unplanned downtime and improving reliability
