About The Position

Crystal Creamery, a premier dairy manufacturer in California, is seeking experienced Plant Maintenance Mechanics to ensure production runs safely and efficiently. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of equipment within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be a skilled industrial maintenance professional with strong diagnostic abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Requirements

3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, climb, and bend throughout the workday.
Comfortable working in wet, refrigerated, and high-noise manufacturing environments.
Flexibility to work any shift, including overtime, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
Must successfully pass pre-employment background screening and drug testing.

Nice To Haves

Ammonia refrigeration experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production, processing, and packaging equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery and systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment reliability.
Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.
