About The Position
In the role of a Plant Maintenance Mechanic working in Wheat Ridge, CO, you will perform mechanical duties such as set up, adjustments, troubleshooting, p.m. inspections, overhaul and make equipment improvements when necessary to the IS equipment. This role performs all work in a safe manner while always demonstrating proper use of safety equipment. This position reports to the Sr Process Leader – Glass.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Industrial journeyman level - on the job experience in heavy industrial mechanic field and/or minimum two years in the forming department.

Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical duties such as set up, adjustments, troubleshooting, p.m. inspections, and overhaul equipment – primarily IS machine hangers
- Make equipment improvements when necessary to the IS equipment
- Perform all work in a safe manner while demonstrating proper use of safety equipment at all times
- Insure that and provide maintenance as required to IS machines and supporting equipment (primarily IS machine hangers)
