About The Position

What You'll Be Doing Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on sand and gravel plant equipment Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure safe, reliable operation Install, adjust, and replace components such as belts, bearings, motors, and pumps Collaborate with plant leadership to prioritize maintenance needs and minimize downtime Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and equipment status

Requirements

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
  • Capability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and mobile equipment
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing operational needs
  • Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights, and perform tasks that involve bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
  • Capability to work in physically demanding conditions that may include uneven terrain, confined spaces, and repetitive motions
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check
  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
