About The Position

The Maintenance Management oversees the duties of maintenance and stock room personnel. The main missions of the role are to assign work orders to maintenance personnel, maintain employees’ time, attendance, and vacation schedules, assist engineering with locating and maintaining repair parts for the equipment, and direct and coordinate both repair and preventive maintenance for all manufacturing equipment. This role also supports continuous improvement efforts by proposing and implementing actions for productivity, efficiency, and quality, and manages the work order database. Additionally, the role ensures the development of maintenance personnel in various skills, supports and enforces Health, Safety, and environmental rules, ensures safety equipment is maintained, and coaches maintenance technicians. The position requires submitting/implementing at least two improvement ideas per month and adhering to the highest ethical standards. The role also assists other departments to secure product quality and is responsible for Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects, along with other assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Possess good communication and leadership skills, above average people and organizational skills, and be willing to work required overtime.
  • Associate degree in industrial electronics, with a specialization in mechanics and automation
  • At least 5 years of maintenance experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of Quality systems and Health, Safety & Environment skills
  • Strong leadership skills in coaching people
  • Ability to be a team player and have the respect of your peers.
  • High levels of organization while being sensitive to time constraints and resource availability.
  • Able solving problems with a realistic understanding of issues
  • Ability to enter data accurately.
  • Capable of following verbal and written instructions
  • Solid math skills
  • Computer knowledge and skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Safety, quality, production, and team oriented
  • Ability to effectively interact with associates at all levels.
  • Minimum bi-lingual (English required)

Responsibilities

  • Assign work orders to maintenance personnel and prioritizing and leveling the workload.
  • Maintain the employees’ time, attendance, and vacation schedules.
  • Assist engineering with locating and maintaining repair parts for the equipment.
  • Direct and coordinate both repair and preventive maintenance for all manufacturing equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts: propose and implement continuous productivity, efficiency, and quality improvement actions for all equipment.
  • Support and manage the work order database to keep it current.
  • Ensure development of maintenance personnel in all types of skills (hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, etc.)
  • Support and enforce all Health, Safety, and environmental rules.
  • Ensure safety equipment is maintained and up to current standards.
  • Ensure the continuous development and coaching of maintenance technicians.
  • Submit/implement at least two improvement ideas per month.
  • Commit to the highest ethical standards and adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
  • Assist other departments to secure the quality of the product.
  • Responsible for Health, Safety and Environmental.
  • Other tasks assigned according to the position and company need.
