Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in production area, including one position in Manufacturing Engineering
  • Trained in Faurecia Excellence System and Program Management System
  • Good financial skills (costing, budget, investment)
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to interface with other functions - Networking capabilities.
  • International mindset
  • Experience in program launch
  • Strong communication skills, ability to manage functional network and line management

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that series production meets customer requirements
  • Support to the continuous improvement process
  • Adhere to the Code of Ethics
  • Adhere to Code of Management
  • Procurement of manufacturing equipment under consideration of demanded security, quality and environmental protection and their preservation
  • Manage equipment and tooling follow-up
  • Monitor and manage capacity and related investments
  • Contribute to define technical specifications for new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities
  • Direct and coordinate both repair and preventive maintenance requirements for all manufacturing equipment
  • Support the engineering change management process
  • Keep processes (machines, tools, procedures) at best possible level in compliance with HSE regulations and QCD
  • Build the engineering budget and the plant CAPEX; and ensure their application
  • Management of the plant central maintenance team
  • Monitor capacity utilization
  • Plan, monitor and coordinate the work of external companies
  • Participate to the Division industrial strategy
  • Develop capital budget requirements to adhere to established facilities standards
  • Manage the spare parts and consumables warehouse
  • Be responsible for the computer aided maintenance management system
  • Create and introduce procedures regarding the tasks of his field of responsibility
  • Support problem solving initiatives
  • Participate to the plant PDP
  • Support the continuous improvement process in following: Labor, Quality, Equipment and Tooling, Space, Work Conditions
  • Participate in the definition of the production process and selection of machines and equipments
  • Lead the installation process of new machines and equipments
  • Support production in the start of new processes to ensure a successful SOP (initial samples, run @ rate, work instructions)
  • Participate to the gate reviews and validate the industrial gate reviews
  • Support to RFQ (Request for Quotation) in order to give manufacturing inputs
  • Staff, train coach, assess and develop the plant Maintenance team (direct or dotted line)
  • Support and train other networks/functions (Production, FES, Quality, PC&L)
  • Participation in the management of the expertise network (knowledge capitalization)
  • Ensure the continuous development and coaching of maintenance technicians and engineers
  • Manage Maintenance key indicators (TRS: change over, cycle time, reliability…)
  • Consolidate Maintenance key indicators of the plants and propose action plans
