About The Position

Original Composites & Fiberglass is seeking an accomplished Plant Leader to provide overall leadership for the Amarillo manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Americas Operations Director, this role owns site performance and the plant MGL and establishes the strategies, standards, operating practices, and organizational capability required to achieve best-in-class performance. The successful candidate will be a visible, hands-on leader who creates an injury-free workplace, advances operational excellence, serves customers, develops talent, and delivers strong operational and financial performance. This leader will collaborates across the organization and represents the company in the Amarillo community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in engineering, business, or a related field
  • At least five years of experience in a plant operations leadership role
  • Manufacturing leadership experience with responsibility for safety, operations, people, and performance delivery
  • Experience leading or participating in cross-functional work outside of manufacturing
  • Demonstrated success hiring, developing, and promoting talent
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Engineering or technical background preferred
  • Leadership experience in a large, complex, continuous-process or comparable industrial manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Set clear, measurable performance expectations aligned with business goals and proactively manage operating metrics.
  • Lead the annual operating plan and capital budget and initiate timely capital requests to maintain or enhance plant performance.

  • Own the plant MGL and make sound operating, resource, and investment decisions that improve business performance.
  • Balance safety, quality, service, cost, people, reliability, and long-term capability when setting priorities.
  • Use business and financial acumen, data, and structured problem solving to create customer and enterprise value.

  • Share best practices, challenge thinking, provide candid and respectful feedback, and model effective teamwork.
  • Support cross-functional projects, enterprise priorities, engagement, and talent development across the business.
