About The Position
Contech is looking for a dynamic and motivated Plant Leader to join our Montgomery, AL plant. As a Plant Leader, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating production and shipping activities, and you'll be at the forefront of making things happen.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years experience working with equipment in manufacturing environment.
- 1 year of experience as a lead or supervisor.
- Strong organizational and math skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift Certification.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating daily production and shipping schedules to ensure smooth operations.
- Efficiently organizing and managing the workforce to maintain optimal productivity.
- Collaborating with plant management and quality control to resolve production issues and maintain quality standards.
- Overseeing loading activities, inspecting loads for accuracy, and ensuring the integrity of product shipments.
- Periodically checking accessory inventories and providing recommendations to plant management.
- Training laborers in various plant operations and safety protocols.
